field trip to petrosains last week for our dsign method clas.
had to write an article based on the theme
Lose + Control.
my first thought. WHAT THE __ IS THIS? -___-
9am we left. supposed to meet at 10pm sharp in front of petrosains!
so we left early. my 2nd time driving to klcc :p
so shengyu and i started our journey, and after a long traffic jam. we were halfway there and were admiring what a great day it was- loud thunder and heavy rain the night before made the skies so beautiful decorated with lovely clouds all over.
ok anyway. we missed 1 turn and we never saw the sign for KLCC ever again.
in the end. yes. two jb ppl lost in the city of kuala lumpur. omg we parked our car at any lrt station we could find and just decided to take the train to klcc.
but NO. it wasn't lrt. it was monorail.
monorail Maharajalela -> monorail Bukit Nanas -> lrt Dang Wangi -> lrt KLCC.
reached klcc finally at 11am :p
we entered Petrosains and at first, the both of us were like, hmmm okay.
and then we proceeded to the dinosaur world.(?) we were greeted by this huge t-rex!
at first we wernt that impressed. i wasnt that impressed. but then i saw these life-size statues or watever they are. and shengyu and i were reading and looking at the descriptions and etc.
i was actually quite amazed at what i was reading and looking at. wow the world was soo different than it is now. with all the dinosaurs and all. i actually had some fun down there :)

and then we proceeded to the next part of petrosains. Space.
there, i learnt about Physics again.
played with some of the stuff there. learnt some new things. had some fun.
saw how the astronauts eat drink and float in space.

then we left Space and entered something like virtual reality, then we got to experience what it would be like to be sitting in a helicopter.
and then saw how they operate. actually i dont know what it was. something to do with gas/water.? haha
anyway then we went to the SPEED racing area. where we could make our own lego racing cars, compete with my other friends. racing. and i could even see how fast my heartbeat is when im running/walking/just standing there.
and hurricanes too. that was awesome.
and then the other section, where i learnt about how the scientists aim to use water instead of petrol, where someday petrol might run out finally. that was quite interesting.
and MANY MANY MORE.
well what i want to say is. hmm
i feel that we are losing control of what the world has become to/will become to.
its like, from dinosaurs- they're huge and now they're extinct.
from using fire as lights to electricity and the internet.
from earth, now we can even go into space.
who knows what will happen/ what will we have in the future?
but after all these, dinosaurs, space, electricity, etc... the human race have always been there.
will we always be there or will we be extinct, just like the dinosaurs?
hmm we have no control of what will be in the future, or maybe we do?Labels: article, design method 3, field trip
